Roomi

Roomi was a part-time project I worked on between June and December of 2025. The motivation was to develop a low-cost, easy to build hardware platform for people to test out VLAs and other foundation models in their own homes. I led the hardware development, pushed out 2 versions. Will be picking this back up in the future!

V1 was open-sourced with the help of Jade Choghari

V2

V2 was a much more capable, dual arm version with custom end-effectors for cleaning.
